Today we are looking at the story of how the Lord trains Joseph to place his trust in the Lord and to serve the Lord in all circumstances. There are two sheets in our binder dealing with the stories. The first one is a summary of what happens in Potiphar’s house, the second deals with the gift the Lord grants to Joseph in explaining dreams.
I doubled up the stories of Joseph in the house of Potiphar with Joseph in Prison to catch up with grades 5 and 6. I have placed the story on the website for grade 3 and 4. In the days to come we will be working together with grades 5 and 6 for stories, since both groups are dealing with the life of God’s servant Joseph. As today's story is a 'double header', it is fairly lengthy. We have estimated the time to spend on Bible and other subjects combined to be about a half hour. So, we will likely go into overtime for today.
As we continue through the week there will be stories told by Mrs. Cowling or Mr. O.
